bikes

hmmmm do i like bikes? yes i think i do. my new friend dick has a bullet bike that he forces me to ride on with him. at first i was like heck no i hate bikes but then finally i said okay fine. it's way super scary when he goes fast and when he turns and pretty much the whole time but i like being on it. maybe its cuz i think i look cool on it. i do look cool on it. it's a super cool bike and last night i was sitting on it by myself and kat was like kayla you look so hot on that bullet bike and i was like thanks. i know i'm pretty sweet. haha just kidding but really. we have fun on it and i like it. it's something new in my life that i have never really done before! so kat and i decide we are going to buy our own bullet bikes so we can look super hot and ride on them everywhere so people will look at us and be like whoah they are so cool i want to be them. so that is what we are going to do so we can be the coolest people here in draper. we got the idea from watching i am number 4 because there is a girl on a red bike in the movie and we were like whoah she is so cool i want to be her. and that is why i now like bikes.. kinda.. don't tell dick cuz i want him to keep believe that i hate it so he will beg me to go on more rides so i don't have to ask :)

Catching up

i haven't blogged in a while so i decided that it is time to start back up again! i will be blogging a lot more now cuz i have a lot of time to do it since i got my new nannying job. i nanny for the 3 cutest boys every! they are so fun and smart! :) i love it. since i updated last i have graduated high school, ended relationships and started new ones, ran a ragnar, lots friends made new, shot the tube, gone boating, gone to 80s night a million times :), went to st george, got my wisdom teeth out :( and started my new nanny job!! :)

graduating

graduating didn't feel real. it came and went so fast. even tho school is about to start it still doesn't feel like i graduated.

ragnar

the ragnar was sooooo much fun and such an accomplishment! for those that don't know what a ragnar is i will explain it to you! it is a 200 mile relay race! you have a team of 12 people and you each run 3 legs until you finish the race! you live out of a car for 2 days and baby wipes are your shower :) you get very very tired but it is worth it! i had the greatest time! mostly because my brother and sister ran it with me so i loved that i could share that with them!! :) eat sleep run do it again

shoot the tube

shooting the tube is fun like always :) the water was soooo fast this year that we didn't even have to dam it up to go down! you usually run up the middle of the tube but you couldn't because the water was too fast that you would just fall down the tube and die. when we were running up the tube for the first time i fell right at the begining and drowned i just sat at the bottom and waited for haley and kat to come down. all of the sudden the tube started to smoke and out came haley and kat. apparently someone put a smoke bomb in the tube and haley and kat said they couldn't breathe so they jumped in and went down!

boating

i went boating with kat and it was so much fun! kat and i always have fun together!! we would ride on the jet skis tan/burn and ride on the tube! that was pretty much the whole day.

wisdom teeth

i made this picture smaller so it was harder to see!! :) ah getting my wisdom teeth out was the worst thing ever. i am still recovering from them. they were so painful. when they were giving me the iv i was spinning and spinning and they had to dig for a vein. they had to do it twice. then the surgery happened. i swear i was awake the whole time but they said i was asleep. they said i started singing in the middle of it. when i woke up i was so out of it and i started recording myself. i started crying because i thought mike was dying. when i got home i couldn't take my pills because my mouth was still numb and the water would just fall out of my mouth!! it sucked so bad.. i slept a lot of the time. a few people visited me and they were.. brad, haley, dick, chels, jaime, kat, kinley and jordan later on. my mom and ty took good care of me. :)

so that is pretty much all that has happened this summer :) i will post some picutres of some other fun things that i did this summer!! :)

Greatest night i have had in a while!

Yesterday was a great day! I spent it with the man I love! First we went to the waterfall and hiked it for a while! It way so much fun because I haven't been hiking or climbing in so long! It felt so good to be out in the sun and to spend so much time with Jord out in the wilderness! We helped each other make it safely up and down the mountain it was a great time!! After that we went to Jordans so he could shower and get ready for dinner and the movie! He showed me this song about a lighthouse and it was so sad. Then we drove to Haleys moms. Once we were there we went to the store and got the million ingredients to make cafe rio salad!! Haha yes we were going to attempt to make the salad! We got back to the house and remembered that we forgot the freaking lettuce! So we sent Jordan back to the store to get it. A few minutes after he left we realized he had no idea where he was going and no idea how to get back! And what made it worse is he didn't have a phone so we were just hoping he would make it back! He did make it back eventually after getting lost and he started warming up the tortillas... Yeah he burned one way bad but its okay cuz we fixed it! When we sat down to eat Davis picked up the sauce and dumped the whole thing on his salad! It was soooo funny! After dinner Haley and I cleaned up the food and we made the boys go clean out the truck for the movie! We grabbed all our blankets and we were on our way! Once we got to the movie we layed all the blankets out and tried to squeeze in the bed of the truck. During the second movie this guy came over the intercom and was saying the concessions are closing in five minutes so if you want anything you have to come get it right now don't forget it is closing so come right now pizza. We all started laughing so hard because he randomly said pizza at the end! After the movie we drove the loooong way home! When we got to Jordans he realized he left his keys in his house so we went around to all the doors knocking on them to have someone let him in! He made it in and we all went to bed. GREATEST NIGHT EVER!

lesson learned

i have learned a valuable lesson today.. no one is the same. just when you think you're at your lowest someone can step into your life and change everything. you may think no one cares about you. you may think you're alone in the world. there is always someone there to talk to. it just takes some time to figure out who it is. heck it could be your boyfriends mom! haha. go forward with your life. work through your problems. DO NOT GIVE UP ON ANYTHING! everything is worth it. stick up for what you believe in. fight for what you want! wait for as long as it takes to make things right. never end or give up on something/one you love. its your life. live it the way you want it to be. everything happens for a reason. you learn from your mistakes. fights are mistakes. fights happen so someone can talk to you in a way they would never before. listen to whats being said. think about it. people can change. and you can change the world.

Day 28: A picture of you and the person you have been closest with the longest

hahahaha my sister is definitely the person i have been closest with the longest. she is my best friend in the whole world!! we always have fun. we are very creative and no matter what we are doing we make it fun!! haha everything is funny to us. we know how to have a good time. we have fun sister days and we go on vacations together! we even ran a half freaking marathon together! i know i will always have fun when i'm with haley! i do not know what i would do with out her. i would just cry for days and days if she died and i would never stop! cuz IM LIKE A BIRD!!!
we have so many inside jokes too! way way way too many to write down! we do the weirdest things when we are bored at work like glue our hands together and when a customer comes in one of us has to lay on the ground so they wont see us! haha. oh man i love her! there is so much more i could say but i think i have said enough!

Day 26: Your Dream Wedding

i haven't really thought about my dream wedding... i just know i want to get married. i kinda want my colors to be tie dye i think that would be super sweet! i want a pretty white dress to wear! it doesn't have to be fancy but it has to be super pretty! :) i do want to get married in the draper temple. i help kinda build it so that temple is really close to me! my wedding will just be very simple. just like a normal wedding. i just mostly care about the wedding part :) and the honeymoon cuz i think that will be soooooo much fun! going somewhere way fun with the person you just married. that sounds great to me :) so yeah i guess that is my dream wedding :)

Day 24: Something you love

something i love... oh geeze i love a lot of things!! but at the moment i think i love my nook!!!!! i just bought a nook and it is my favorite thing in the whole world. i just love reading books on it and stuff! so if anyone knows of any good books pllllease let me know!! :)I LOVE MY NOOK!

Day 23: A talent of yours

a talent of mine. well i have danced my whole just until a couple years ago. i would say i was pretty good. i would practice hours on hours every day of the week. it was my life. i pretty much didn't have time to do anything else. i loved it because i was good at it. i loved going to dance competitions and being there all day long. i love sitting there listening to your name being called finding out what place you were in. i love picking out my dance costume. so many memorize that i need to hold on to. i miss it a lot of the time but it's okay. i had my fun and i'm so glad that i got to grow up dancing :)

Day 21: Favorite Picture of yourself ALL TIME Why?

ha this one was really hard for me cuz i like all the pictures of myself. :) so i went onto facebook and looked through the comments of a lot of my pictures to see which one i commented on for being my favorite and this one said i love this picture so i put this one on. :) it reminds me of how happy i can be and how happy i want to be. i look really happy in this picture and that was a great day in the past that i want to always remember.

the future

i have been thinking a lot about the future lately because it is almost time for me to graduate. i just decided that i'm moving out with a couple of friends for the summer and i will need to get a second job in order to pay for everthing. i need to start thinking about what i want to do. i keep changing my mind and i don't want to decide on something and start in it then decide its not what i want to do. moving out and being on my own is scary and i don't know how i am going to be able to do it but i want to see if i can. :) i am super excited to move out and i'm looking forward to the future!!

Day 19: Something you've learned

ohhh man that's a hard one.. not because i haven't learned things but because the things i have learned are very deep and personal. here is one.. i have learned that i'm not always right and i don't know whats always right for me. i need to listen to what other people tell me. i am selfish sometimes and it ends up hurting other people. and once i have something in my head i'm stuck to it and i don't want to change my mind. i know i should put myself first but it is hard to figure out what is best for yourself. ha life is just hard.

Day 17: Something you're looking forward to

getting married! finally having a boy thats stuck with me! not having to worry about breaking up and knowing we will always get over our fights! being able to be together all the time! never having to go home or be without them. sharing our secrets and our lives together. traveling the world. having a best friend and someone to always talk to. knowing someone will always be there. being committed for the whole world to see. it would be perfect :)

Day 16: Dream house

my dream house. i want it to either be the note book house with the shutters and the wrap around porch or a little cottage. i want one of those old fashion looking houses just built brand new so its not all creaky and stuff.i love old fashion things and that would be perfect.

i have kind of a weird family. i have 5 brothers and sisters and a mom and a dad. :) 3 of my siblings are half but i just treat them like wholes. my family rocks.

Day 10: your worst habit

so when thinking of my worst habit i needed a little help cuz i couldn't think of one so i text jordan and asked him and he didn't even have to think about it! he just said when you don't clean up after yourself! if we get food i guess i leave my trash in his car and he gets a little mad... ha sorry honey.haha but i guess that is my worst habit. i don't know why but i just get too lazy to pick it up and throw it away. i clean up my car cuz i'm smart and i put a bag in there for garbage. i think everyone should put a bag in their car for garbage... wink wink. so i would have to say not cleaning up after myself is my worst habit. its only somethings i don't clean up though. like my clothes or garbage in jordans car. i clean up my food if i makes some and other stuff like that.. so its only a small worst habit :)

traveling is one of my favorite things to do! i have already been to a lot of places in my life but there are a few that i would really like to go to.
